Terms of Service

Effective July 21, 2026

1. What Dula is

Dula lets people who speak different languages text each other. You write in your language; the app uses artificial intelligence (AI) to translate your messages so the other person can read them in theirs. Dula is operated by TechKeys.ai ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using a chat link someone shared with you, you agree to these terms.

2. Translations are automatic — and not perfect

Translations are produced by AI, instantly and without human review. They are usually good, but they can be wrong, incomplete, or miss nuance. Every translated message keeps its original text a tap away — when the details matter, check the original or confirm another way. Do not rely on Dula for legal, medical, financial, or emergency communication.

3. Your account

You need accurate information (name, email, phone number) to create an account, and you're responsible for what happens under it. Keep your password private. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Dula.

4. Your messages

Messages you send are stored so we can deliver them, show the conversation history, and produce translations. Your conversations are private to their participants — we don't sell your messages or use them for advertising. Message text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to produce translations.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Dula to harass, threaten, or defraud anyone, to send spam, to break the law, or to try to break the service. We can suspend or remove accounts that do.

6. Chat links and groups

When you share a chat link or QR code, anyone who has it can open that conversation — share links only with the person they're for. You can delete a chat at any time, which disables its link. Group members can see the names, Dula IDs, and reading languages of other members in the same group.

7. The service

Dula is provided "as is". We work to keep it fast and available, but we can't promise zero downtime or zero data loss, and we may change or discontinue features. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for consequences of inaccurate translations.

8. Ending things

You can stop using Dula and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date above and note it in the app. Using Dula after a change means you accept the updated terms.
